LONDON, June 9, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Willis Group Holdings (NYSE:WSH), the global risk adviser, insurance and reinsurance broker, has reinforced its position as a leading risk adviser and insurance broker for the technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) sector with the appointment of new regional leaders for North America and Europe.
Willis has appointed Tom Srail as TMT Industry leader for North America and Fredrik Motzfeldt as TMT Industry leader for Europe. Srail and Motzfeldt both report to Sara Benolken, Global Head of Willis's TMT Industry.
Motzfeldt, who previously held senior leadership roles within both Jardine Lloyd Thompson's and Marsh & McLennan's communications, technology and media practices, has worked in the insurance and risk management industry for over 24 years, helping TMT companies in the UK, Europe and North America manage and finance their global risk exposures.
Srail joined Willis in 2004 and since then has specialised in advising multinational clients, particularly in the media sector, on professional liability and cyber risks. Prior to joining Willis Srail served as vice president and broker in the Cyber and Errors and Omissions (E&O) team at Marsh & McLennan. He was recently designated a "Power Broker" by leading trade journal, Risk & Insurance.
