Turkcell confirmed reports Thursday that it is has made an offer in the tender of a 65 per cent stake in Bulgaria’s BTC
Iceland’s best known millionaire, Thor Bjorgolfsson, is believed to be mulling the sale of his option for 65 per cent in BTC. The mogul has appointed Lehman Brothers to shortlist interested investors.
It is also thought that Turkey’s biggest fixed-line operator, Turk Telecom, has also been linked with BTC.
