The Importance of Sound Judgment

Although time served does not always equate with excellence, my executive experience in state government and medicaid managed care has helped hone my ability to apply sound judgement to a wide range of business planning and projects. For example, I worked with a Third Party Administrator that was considering expanding their services to the Medicaid arena. My task included educating the client on the differences between Medicaid and other government programs; helping them assess their current capacity and what they would need for this new business venture; and advising them on their staffing, readiness and other implementation issues. The client relied on my judgement in guiding them through each step of this process.
