Nordic systems integrator Cygate, owned by regional carrier TeliaSonera, this week acquired data centre specialist Information Infrastructure Management (IIM) for an undisclosed sum.
IIM is a niche system integrator company, specialising in the datacenter market. TeliaSonera and Cygate said the acquisition would strengthen the company’s offerings within this high growth area, which “is high up on the agenda for Nordic CIOs when it comes to prioritising their IT investments,” according to Bengt Lundgren, managing director at Cygate.
“We were one of the first players to bet on backup, storage and virtualization services – areas with staggering growth and are pleased with this acquisition.”
