Handset vendor Nokia, whcih has an existing global alliance with Intuit, a provider of business and financial management platforms, is piloting a mobile marketing service in India, under the brand GoConnect.
Intuit GoConnect is being trialled in New Delhi and Chandigarh, focusing on enabling small Indian businesses to create personalized marketing messages for their customers. It is a subscription-based service and a six-month subscription costs INR2,400 ($52.56) and includes 10,000 SMSes, and a 12-month subscription costs INR3,600 and includes 20,000 SMSes.
