Georgian designer Tako Mekvabidze—who typically presents her collections at Tbilisi Mercedes Benz Fashion Week—brought her Spring/Summer 2020 fashion week to the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.

For Mekvabidze’s latest collection, the designer created a colorful range of dresses, suits, separates, outerwear and more. The collection features voluminous embellishments as well as classic silhouettes that verge on elevated whimsy. Mekvabidze’s designs have been worn by the likes of Kendall Jenner and pay homage to the city she grew up in, respecting the culture that raised her. This was the first season Mekvabidze debuted at L.A. Fashion Week.
