When thinking about Optimetra’s core values, it’s our value of Integrity that resonates strongest with me. Sometimes, it’s hard to do the right thing or handle those tough conversations with compassion, but it is in those moments, that we show our true character and (hopefully) inspire those around us to follow our lead.

For me, Integrity has just always been a part of who I am and how I was raised. Recently, though, I realized how it really impacts others. When leaving a position, I received several notes from people I had managed all with the same basic message: they could always trust me to be candid with them and treat those around me with compassion and respect, and because of those two things, they knew they could come to me with anything – good or bad – and I would be there to help them.
