Ever since he arrived at Celine, Hedi Slimane has been putting his stamp on the label to make it very much of his after a decade with Phoebe Philo at the helm of the brand and her completely revamping the label's style. After a year in his current role as Celine's creative director Slimane has introduced the brand's very first fragrance.
This is Celine's first time debuting a new scent. Their fragrance license formerly belonged to Interparfums until it was moved in-house to Celine's parent company, LVMH, and prior to this the brand hasn't released any new perfumes. Slimane is no stranger to the fragrance game, having introduced a line of scents at Dior Homme when he was the brand's creative director.

The new fragrance is called La Collection Celine Haute Parfumerie. More details about the fragrance aren't known yet, but it was teased on Instagram. As LVMH works to make Celine a billion dollar brand, they have added menswear, courtesy of Slimane. Fragrances are expected to be the next category that will help boost sales.
