New York artist Andy Black and a group of Swiss investors founded Rapstor in 2004, aiming to fill the niche between horology and fashion with handmade, one-of-a-kind watches. Each watch features natural diamonds set in various graphic shapes and patterns that create a collage on the dial. Watches can hold up to 25 carats of diamonds.

Although the watches do not contain the most expensive stones, they achieve character through the choice of color and clarity of each piece.
